Conference Overview

Smart Manufacturing is the adoption of digital manufacturing. Digital manufacturing includes, but is not limited to, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, Machine to Machine (M2M), Robotics, Automation Platforms and Artficial Intelligence (AI). Our nation is slowly advancing towards Industry 4.0. The Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) tabled the National Policy for Industry 4.0 to help advance the countries’ businesses and factories. This will ideally help the local industries to increase productvity, efficiency, quality, and to also develop new skills and talent with the people.

Malaysian Export Academy (MEXA) in collaboration with Malaysian Exporters Association (MEXPA) will be organising the conference on “National Conference on Smart Manufacturing” on 19 th and 20 th August 2019 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The Theme of the conference is “Shaping the Future with Smart Manufacturing” The objective of this conference will help delegates address common challenges, opportunity in the smart manufacturing and reliability field and keep up with the digital transformation for smart manufacturing.
