  • Youths aged 16 – 25 years old from rural areas
  • Able to read and write

Full time basis (5 days : 9am – 5pm) 2 weeks course

  • Module 3 Inventory & Store Management

  • Stock management functions
  • Basics to store & warehouse operations
  • Store personnel roles & responsibilities
  • Inventory control & planning
  • Warehouse & inventory control documents
  • Purchases Order, Delivery Order, Tally Sheet,
  • Quantity & Quality Tally Sheet, Invoice, Packing List
  • The store receiving function
  • The store issuing functions
  • Security & safety in the store
  • Module 4 Workplace Security, Safety & Health (OSHA)

  • Understand the impact of health and safety on an organisation’s effectiveness, financial outcomes, viability and reputation
  • Formulate key principles of occupational health and safety administration in a manufacturingoriented enviroment
  • Relate OSHA principles to influencing human factors and behaviour at the workplace
  • Identity health and safety issues in the manufacturing enviroment
  • Module 5 Communication Skills

  • The basics of communication
  • Handling obstacles to communication
  • Developing effective communication skills
